The description states 100% top grain leather. It is stamped with "Genuine Leather" on the inside. I have a top grain leather belt and that belt doesn't ripple like this belt does. The only reason why I didn't send it back is that I needed the belt due to extreme weight loss. Therefore, my other belt no longer fit.
I ordered a belt buckle and a belt for my husband. I ordered the wrong size belt, super easy customer service to return and our new belt was in had just over a week later! Great product and great customer service!
